Search This Site

This site uses two separate and distinctly different search engines.

The site search at the top of each main page searches articles, photos, videos, crew information pages, etc. The site search does not search the database. Use the site search to find general information that is not included in the database.

The database search in the database section of the website searches only database records. This database search engine uses powerful filters that allow you to narrow your search to a specific person, airplane, mission, crew, MACR, casualty report, etc. Use the database search to find specific and detailed records.

Reunion Information

May 25-28, 2023

The 100th BG Foundation joins the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force at its “Flags for the Fallen” Memorial Day Weekend event. Historical programming is being planned with Museum staff and will be posted here in the coming weeks, along with event registration options

In these challenging economic times, our goal is flexibility in both programs and meals. Towards that end, our event hotel is actually TWO HOTELS next door to each other – each offers different amenity levels and pricing, depending on your preferences. Both are located just off I-95, offer free parking and airport shuttle, and are within several miles of the Museum and Savannah Airport.  Embassy Suites offers full hot breakfast and evening happy hour.

This reunion time and place offers our group a chance to view progress on the major expansion of the Mighty 8th Museum which will house the permanent stateside exhibit of the 100th Bomb Group in its final phase. The Museum will be our weekend base for programs, building on the historical framework the Museum has to honor the 26,000 8th AF airmen lost in WWII. Since Masters of the Air will have recently aired, featuring the true stories of the 100th BG and 8th AF, the weekend will be our first chance to gather and discuss the portrayals of men and missions.

Please join us for some or all of the May 2023 reunion gathering!
