1st Lt Austin Dunlap was transferred to Lead Crew (Pathfinders) at 95th BG (Horham) after June 22, 1944 mission. He was replaced on the crew by Lt Tiahrt. Lt Cummings was transferred home after ditching in channel with another crew. Lt Cummings was replaced with Lt Braithwaite (July 7, 1944) who came from the Lt Tiahrt Crew. Lt Braithwaite and Lt. Tiahrt flew with this crew from July 7, 1944 until August 14, 1944. After that, Lt Goodwin became Pilot. No information on who became new Bomb. (as related to mpf by Butch Goodwin and Max Barasch)

Lt. Goodwin flew 21 missions as a co-pilot and 13 as first pilot. His mission log is filled with rough misions, noteable the three trips to Meresburg, one of which was recalled, and the 26 Nov 44 Hamm misison. There are several other trips to the Rhur area ("Happy Valley"). These targets were well protected by Flak batteries and were often contested by the Luftwaffe.
During his combat tour Lt. Goodwin acted as Assistant Engineering Officer of the 350th Squadron as an additional duty. Upon completing his combat tour, Nov 30, 1944 Merseburg, Ger., he moved to Group Engineering and later became the Engineering Officer of the 349th.
Mr. Goodwin remained in the service after WW II until his retirement. He resides in Hot Springs Village, AR as of 1994. He has served the 100th Bomb Group Association as it's Treasury since the organization was formed. One of the 100th best know airmen.
