James R. Cashen
James R. Cashen, 87, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday evening, December 31, 2008, at Atrium Medical Center, Franklin. He was born April 2, 1921, in Haskins, Ohio, the son of Robert and Orpha Alger Cashen.
He was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving in World War II, and was retired as a manager of Huber Management in Kettering.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Frances (Hyde) Cashen, on February 14, 1992, and by a daughter, Jill Cashen. He is survived by a two daughters and sons-in-law, Robin (Dennis) Pugh, Columbus, and Lisa (Gary) Cobb, Middletown, seven grandchildren, Bailey Pugh, Alison Pugh, Donovan Pugh, Grady Cobb, Ginny Cobb, Gayle Cobb, and Garrett Cobb, and a brother, Jerry Cashen, of Toledo.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 8, 2009, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Thursday until service time. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens
