Jack C. Moore crew Detailed Information (100th Photo Archives)

- photo of Jack Moore holding a plaque to be placed on a local memorial in Cesky Jiretin village, where his B-17G had crashed. This is not far away from us. The plaque was arranged by our Museum and was placed there one day after opening of our Museum, 14 September 1997. It honors Jack´s BTG Bill Dishneau, the only casualty of his crew. (Jack was present on the Museum opening ceremony as one of 100th BG veterans). Few days before we have also arranged his flight in a sport plane again over the Brux oil refinery (now Most, CZ). He took controls of that flight and our friend, the pilot says, Jack´s piloting was perfect. Courtesy of Jan Zdiarsky
