PFF Terrible Termite (4) Dec 24, 1944 . The back of this picture said it was 24 December 1944, when the weather cleared during the battle of the bulge. Orders were for a maximum effort, and my dad who was the group bombardier at the time said that the group staff formed a crew and flew lead. Back of the picture says it was taken by a LT Adair who was on their wing. The target was Bibblis airfield and fuel storage. Courtesy of Capt Tong Collection | |||
