Letter home from John J. O'Leary from the Deming section to his Aunt
Margaret. Fanny Farmer chocolates and stamps from home were a BIG
HIT at the barracks. Letter sent exactly 3 years before son Jack was
born. One of the few letters he saved from his time at Deming. In
that letter he also mentions having to INSPECT the planes the next
morning. Probably a pre flight check on the ships before they took
off. Courtesy of Jack O'Leary |
