Sgt. Piel was KIA with Crew 22, the Capt. Thomas Murphy crew, in
Piccadilly Lily on the 8 OCT 43 Bremen mission. Derrell was the
original ROG on Lt. Richard King's crew, but was in the hospital
recovering from a FLAK wound when the King crew was shot down.
