sustaining flak damage that caused part of the crew to bail out.
John Furrer (to the left) is shaking the hand of James Evans, a P-51
pilot who escorted them back. On the wing is ?, to the left of
John Furrer is Paul K. Miller and between in unknown order are
Lorenza D. Guthrie and Lester E. Sheffield.
